The Meaning of Earth Month
Earth month reminds me of why we are on this planet and every form of life that it stands for. Sadly, mankind has destroyed many precious lives of animals, sea life, and many forms of trees and plants. But that reminds me what a family means, the togetherness, and the great joy and love that is shared in life. Unfortunately, many marriages fail because couples do not know how to work with each other to make their marriage work and display a fruitful life together. The same goes for the caring of animals and family pets. We can improve the things we have destroyed but it takes the whole world to work together to repair what we have damaged or destroyed. Sadly, some things can never be brought back again because they are gone forever. But if we work together to preserve what we have and remove the pollution that we have spread across the planet, then we can slowly heal the damage which we have done. We must remember that it is the earth which has provided us with the many foods that we need and has provided plants that provide food for people, wildlife, and the insects which also give us many foods to enjoy. One item is honey, made from the pollen that the bees take back to their nests and convert into the honey. We must always be conscious of the many gifts that the earth provides for us.
