Between the signing of the Paris Agreement at the end of 2015 and the end of 2018, Chase bankrolled coal, oil and gas companies to the tune of almost $200 billion. This is a stunning 29% more than any other bank. While some major global banks, including Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, have reduced their fossil fuel finance in each of the last two years, Chase’s financing grew between 2016 and 2018.” (Read more…)
