Episode four of RAN’s new, bi-weekly YouTube series called the RAN Wrap Up is titled Good News for the Leuser Ecosystem and features a discussion with our Senior Communications Strategist Laurel Sutherlin about why the Leuser Ecosystem is so important, recent hopeful trends in forest protection efforts as well as remaining threats to this globally important region. Laurel also shares some brief stories from his recent visit to the Leuser where he had the opportunity to go deep into the jungle and spend time with some of its iconic residents like Sumatran orangutans, Thomas leaf monkeys and rhinoceros hornbills.
