Activists hand delivered a simple message: Morgan Stanley needs to stop financing coal now. Folks were met with reactions as wide as being offered tea to thoughtful listening to outright hostility.

At the end of this long day I am struck by how personal the issue of coal financing is to so many. Despite the lack of transparency in the financial sector activists are pushing for change because the reality is coal effects our communities and climate. We all owe a huge thank you to the leaders who made sure our voices were heard today. Onward!

Activists in 12 different cities hand delivered a simple message: Morgan Stanley needs to stop financing coal now. Over 11,000 people signed this petition with clear and measurable objectives to phasing out coal finance.
