Chelsea has worked on corporate campaigns for over seven years and specializes in project management and coordination. At RAN, Chelsea works to protect Indonesia’s rainforests from destruction for palm oil. She was inspired to join RAN in 2011 after working on a food sovereignty and Indigenous rights campaign in Ecuador where she conducted research on the corporate control of local food systems. Prior to RAN, Chelsea worked in community organizing and youth leadership development in Latin America. Chelsea has a bachelor’s degree in International Studies with a focus on environment, development and social change.
