Charlotte comes to RAN with experience in grassroots non-profit development, community-based rainforest conservation, environmental policy analysis, and freelance communications. She has lived in the Peruvian Amazon doing frontline resilience work with the Shipibo-Konibo people, and more recently, served as a policy intern for the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, focusing on local issues related to fossil fuel extraction. She graduated from Brown University with degrees in International Development and Latin American Studies. Outside of RAN, Charlotte enjoys practicing martial arts, playing the charango, walking dogs, and writing short stories.
