Charlotte is a bilingual Ecuadorian-American non-profit development professional, bringing over six years of experience in fundraising and communications. She has lived in the Peruvian Amazon doing frontline resilience work with the Shipibo-Konibo people, and spent time in her mother’s country of origin, Ecuador, with Kichwa and Kofán communities resisting fossil fuel expansion and exploring cultural revitalization efforts. Prior to joining RAN in April 2019, she spent time as an intern for the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, coordinating large grant submissions and collecting data on oil and gas concessions in communities of color. She graduated from Brown University in 2016 with honors in Development Studies and Latin American Studies. She loves listening to Bad Bunny, writing dramedies with her partner, and exploring the Bay Area with their rescue chihuahua, Miss Horchata Latte.
