Charlotte is a bilingual Ecuadorian-American non-profit development professional, bringing over five years of experience in fundraising and communications. She has lived in the Peruvian Amazon doing frontline resilience work with the Shipibo-Konibo people, and spent time in her mother’s country of origin, Ecuador, with Kichwa and Cofan communities resisting fossil fuel expansion and exploring cultural revitalization efforts. More recently she spent time as a policy intern for the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, focusing on localized impacts of fossil fuel extraction in communities of color. She graduated from Brown University with honors in International Development and Latin American Studies.
