Rapid Response: Fashion Week
This week is Fashion Week in New York, a time where the biggest luxury designers in the world come together to show off their new collections. It’s a big deal in the fashion world, and that makes it a key moment for our Out of Fashion Campaign.
We need to make absolutely sure that part of the discussion and buzz around Fashion Week this year is not just about who’s wearing or showing what, but about the devastating impact that clothing produced from dissolving pulp by companies like Royal Golden Eagle Group’s Sateri Ltd. is having on the world’s forests and forest peoples.
Are you with us? Our plan is simple, but it relies on having you involved. Over the course of Fashion Week, from Feb. 12-19, we’ll be doing daily online actions - raising a ruckus on social media and ensuring that fashion companies hear our voice. We’ll send you an email once a day with a simple 30 second action to take which, combined with thousands of other activists, will make our voice too loud to ignore.
