LNG EXPORTS FACILITIES A MESS FOR TEXAS: REPORT: The Rainforest Action Network released a report today claiming three proposed liquefied natural gas export terminals in Texas' Rio Grande Valley would devastate the fishing and shrimping industries, ecotourism, and endangered wildlife in the region. The group urges banks not to invest in the proposed projects and released a further white paper outlining what it sees as the climate and human rights impacts of LNG export facilities. (read more)
