The following summary provides a brief description of the staff benefits program available to all regular full-time and part time RAN staff (20+ hours) unless stated otherwise.
Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
100% of the premium cost is covered by RAN for both the staff and their dependents which includes: spouses, children, and domestic partners.
Health Savings Account (HSA)
RAN will also contribute into the Staff’s Health Savings Account the amount of 100% of the yearly deductible (prorated over 12 months) for that particular High Deductible Health Plan.
Pre Tax Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
RAN offers the options of having both a Medical Reimbursement and Dependent Care Reimbursement account as ways to help save on health and daycare expenses with pre-tax dollars that you set aside.
Basic Life Insurance & Long-Term Disability
RAN covers 100% of the staff’s premium cost for these plans.

Part time staff members working 20 hours or more a week accrue PTO benefits on a prorated basis.

Work Environment
Staff may choose to work in our office in San Francisco or remotely.
Staff receive a one-time office setup stipend if working from home, or if they prefer to work from a non-home office, RAN will pay the monthly cost of the office space.

Sabbatical Leave
Regular, full-time staff are eligible for a 12-week paid sabbatical after each five years of continuous service.
Parental Leave
12 weeks of PAID parental leave.
