Theres a price to pay for things and Ill pay more money or change my taste in food rather than have nature pay for these things humans produce and consume. Please, find an alternative to using palm oil to preserve the rainforest as a habitat

For all our failings and fallibilities we humans are capable of greatness. Be an example and make the right decision for us, for future generations, for our planet, our only home.

I don’t want my lifetime to be one where
it was apparently agreed that we as a population
would agree to let a microscopic proportion of humans sell our planet
    for nothing.

No more palm oil. It’s not even good for our health. Please stop this! There are much healthier alternatives such as sunflower oil or safflower oil even. Thank you!

No more palm oil. There are so many other options. Stop killing our gentle friends.

There are better ways to eat without Palm oil; the trees should stay for those who need them more, for those who need a home.

Agree with all the other comments, I have to avoid so much that would be suitable for vegans if the palm oil wasn’t in it! Very upsetting and frustrating.

It’s not Just Orangutans that are loosing their homes, its Tigers, Rhinos, and many other species because of burning and cutting down the Rain forests for Palm oil plantations to be set up.

I’ve avoided palm oil in food for many years now. Comments here from others are correct. We do not want palm oi

palm oil is not wanted by any consumers, it is not needed. We should be guardians to this world and all it’s inhabitants, instead we are mindlessly destroying it, all without reason. Please stop, it is what customers want, make the labelling clear, offer an alternative clearly marked “palm-oil free” and I am 100% positive most (if not all) people will prefer to pay a few extra pence to not be responsible for this atrocity.

I don’t want to live in a time where biodiversity is a historical fact, where we teach children about all the amazing animals that used to exist on this planet. Please stop the irresponsible, unjust deforestation of animal habitats, and the exploitation of local peoples and small farmers — exploitation that often forces them to engage in destructive practices simply to survive. Environmental justice for every species!

Pursuing a career in anthropology I have done a lot of research on orangutans. Habitat destruction can be avoided and it’s our responsibilty to care for the other animals on earth. Many species have or are close to being lost and we cannot let that happen to anymore animals. Did you know female orangutans are the only non-human primate besides us that care for their babies for a long period of time? Orangutans are so much like us, why don’t you care what happens to them? They feel too and understand pain. If a mother loses a child she will mourn. I have not and will continue to not purchase any product that comes from the destruction of orangutans. You probably don’t care, but you should. You are murderers. Orangutans are arboreal and without their habitat they are defenseless. You are probably just doing what you are told, but why can’t you see that it is wrong?

They deserve to be free and expierence life just as we do. Are we so uncaring. Are we ready to face life without forrest and oceans. We are killing the planet. I fear my sons children may never know a elephant.a panda and orangutans now are close to extinction. Just as logging in us depleted our large cats and cougars. Please wake up world. Please

There are so many alternatives. Why are you destroying these homes. There are very few Orangutans in the world and we need to protect them. Just like us, the Orangutans are here on Earth to live their lives. They are very intelligent creatures. They have even learned how to communicate with us. We have to see these animals as our allies. They think just like us and deserve to at least have a home. Stop the destruction of these rainforests. It takes year’s for these forests to grow and I don’t understand why if there are so many alternatives you choose to destroy one that benefits all of us as a whole. Do you know that we breathe oxygen and these trees provide oxygen. There’s a quote by an Native American that goes, “Until we cut the last tree and poison the last river; it is then that we will realize that we cannot eat money.” We are all on Earth for a reason and we have to realize that we are all a family and that there are alternatives to Palm Oil. Please help us save these innocent animals.

Please stop hurting the Earth. Do hurting nature make you feel awesome? Please stop taking away God’s creatures just for a temporary needs. Is this what most people want? Destroy everything to build something that even they don’t know would it be useful or not. Is it funny for you to see those animals mostly ORANGUTAN lost their home and died protecting something that BELONGS to them? What if the situation changed, what if orangutan destroyed our homes, what would you feel? HURT, PAIN, SADNESS, GRAVE, those are the feelings that ORANGUTAN feels right now. We can still live without those kinds of snacks that actually could bring danger to ourselves if we consumed too much. But we can’t live without ANIMALS, we need them just like they need us. WE NEED EACH OTHER TO SAVE THE EARTH. The thing that we should do now is protecting each other, not HURTING EVEN KILLING each other.

If you won’t do it for the orangutans, do it for the people suffering from the smoke polluted air http://www.todayonline.com/world/asia/forest-fire-haze-harming-air-quality-indonesia-singapore. The corruption is slowly killing our world.

We all need to help animals and this is one of the problems it is not only orangutans but elephants and tigers too. We can use different solutions then palm oil. Don’t we have brains
