Strike Two: Another TVA Coal Sludge Spill in Northeast Alabama

On Dec. 22 the Tennessee Valley Authority spilled over a billion gallons of coal ash waste and sludge into the communities and waterways of Eastern Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama. The spill was larger than the Exxon Valdez spill in 1989. NOW, the Tennessee Valley Authority has had a second coal ash spill in northeast Alabama near their Widow's Creek coal plant.
