This magnet looks great on the refrigerator and makes a super gift! Have your parents help you.

• Artwork (use this drawing or create your own!)
• A piece of cardboard cut to match the size of the drawing (do this by cutting out the drawing and tracing the outline onto a piece of cardboard)
• Colored pens or crayons
• A glue stick or glue
• Clear packing or mailing tape that is 2 inches wide
• A magnet (you can buy this at a craft or hardware store)

Cut out the picture, color it in with bright colors, and glue it onto the piece of cardboard. Once finished, protect the artwork by covering it with a strip of clear packing tape. If you do this correctly, the packing tape should cover the drawing perfectly. Attach a magnet to the back. If you would like to make more than one magnet, xerox your drawing before coloring it in.
