Over the last twenty years, RAN's mission to protect forests and their inhabitants has evolved and greatly expanded. Just as unchecked resource extraction that displaces Indigenous communities has no place in the 21st century, America's addiction to oil, the destructive march of U.S. agribusiness through the rainforests, and the continued funding of dirty coal by major banks can and must end.
We intend to transform the global economy and create a just and sustainable world. Though our campaigns have distinct goals, they are connected by common threads.
