Getting Started with the Climate Action Fund




The Climate Action Fund is designed to allow you to customize your organization's participation in the program.  

1. Choose what emissions you want to address

You can choose to measure and base your contributions on your organization, department, individual staff or event emissions.

2. Choose how you want to measure your emissions

Ongoing Tracking: To see how your emissions change overtime, you can choose to track your emissions every month or every quarter. Your contribution into the fund will change according to your monthly or quarterly calculations.

One-time calculation: Calculate your emissions when you sign up for the program. Your contribution into the fund will depend on this one-time calculation.

RAN’s Emissions: After two years of careful tracking, RAN’s staff accountant and finance director have estimated that each RAN staff member is responsible for an average of 5 tons of CO2 per year for their work-related activities, which has been established as RAN’s baseline emissions. You can skip the step of tracking your own emissions and adopt RAN’s baseline, or choose or your level of sponsorship below:

3. CHOOSE A LEVEL OF SPONSORSHIP

  • Bronze – $5 per ton of CO2
  • Silver – $25 per ton of CO2
  • Gold – $85 per ton of CO2

If you are interested in becoming a partner, please fill out the contact form below. Our Climate Action Fund manager will contact you promptly to answer any questions you have about the program. You will be asked to complete an application form to become a partner of the Climate Action Fund.
