You spoke — we’re making sure U.S. Ex-Im is listening

By Peter Molof

On Earth Day, we asked you to tell the U.S. Export-Import Bank to stay far away from two proposed coal plants in Bangladesh. Yesterday, we brought your voice straight to the bank.

We brought your voice straight to the bank!

You can keep up the pressure on U.S. Ex-Im by tweeting at the bank. Click to tweet now!

The U.S. Export-Import bank might finance two huge coal plants in Bangladesh  one dangerously close to the world’s largest mangrove forest, and one just outside the country’s densely-populated capital. We joined with allies in Washington, D.C. to deliver over 156,648 signatures right to the bank’s door, demanding that the U.S. Ex-Im bank reject these harmful projects.

You told the bank that you’re not okay with U.S. taxpayer dollars financing destructive coal plants in Bangladesh — and we made sure your voice was heard.

In solidarity,

Peter
