Forest Destruction Gets "1 Star"!

Abercrombie App Jam Graphic

Forest destruction gets "1 Star"...but only because zero stars is not an option!

Abercrombie & Fitch recently launched an updated mobile app to make it even easier to buy its 300 items that are made from fabrics that come from trees –– like rayon, viscose, or modal. However, its “effortless style” and mobile shopping make no effort to protect rainforests or frontline communities.

Abercrombie & Fitch makes much of its annual profits from online sales and a majority of that is through shopping on mobile phones. This means that getting more people to use its newly updated mobile app is critical to its bottom line.

By leaving a "1 star" rating and app review exposing Abercrombie & Fitch’s risk of rainforest destruction you’re helping educate consumers about what’s in their clothing and putting your critical message directly between Abercrombie & Fitch and its consumers.

Not sure how to rate an app? Here’s our simple step-by-step guide for Android and Apple users.

Android Users (Google Play / Google +)

  1. Click here go to the Google Play Store.

  2. Click on “Install” to download the free app. (You can only rate it if you have downloaded it...don’t worry, you can delete it right after you’re done rating it!)

  5. Select a "1 star" rating and click “Write a Review” to leave your review. Here’s a sample review you can use:

Any products that may contain rainforest destruction are not even worthy of one star! Abercrombie & Fitch has almost 300 items that use fabrics made from trees, which may be coming from endangered rainforests in Indonesia. It’s time A&F addresses this scandal hidden in its clothing!

Abercrombie & Fitch recently invested a huge amount of money in a newly updated mobile app…but it has yet to invest the time and money needed to ensure rainforest destruction isn’t found in its clothing. Now, with a few clicks, it is easier than ever to buy from roughly 300 Abercrombie & Fitch items that are made from forest fabrics like rayon, viscose, or modal.

Abercrombie & Fitch is contributing to one of the most evil things happening today – the destruction of the rainforest. The rain forests are “The Lungs of the Planet.” You do not survive long, without lungs!

Not compatible with my device. So happy. Will never buy from them as long as they help destroy the planet.
